Outside of the groups I’ve already made financial promises to for the Susan G. Komen walk in October, my funds will now go directly to Planned Parenthood and the American Cancer Society.  Earlier I expressed how torn I was about this.  Breast cancer is something that is near to me.  An examination that leads to early detection, especially amongst those who cannot afford the screening is of vital importance.  Even those of us who can afford it still need the support.
